Directions
Discussion: Apply Knowledge
Step 1: Consider the following scenario. Dr. Aisha Patel is the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at a large metropolitan hospital, part of an integrated health system serving diverse populations. The hospital faces numerous challenges, including high client volumes, varying client needs, and resource constraints. Dr. Patel is tasked with improving client outcomes and operational efficiency. She leverages data analysis to identify and prioritize the hospital’s needs and collaborates with other sectors, such as public health, social services, and technology, to develop a balanced portfolio of interventions.
Step 2: Answer all questions below with explanation and detail, providing complete APA references for all citations.

How can Dr. Patel use data analysis to identify the most critical needs of the hospital? What types of data should she focus on, and how can she ensure the data is accurate and comprehensive?
What criteria should Dr. Patel use to prioritize the hospital’s needs? How can she balance immediate client care requirements with long-term strategic goals?
In what ways can Dr. Patel collaborate with other sectors (e.g., public health, social services, technology) to address the hospital’s needs? What are the potential benefits and challenges of such collaborations?
How can Dr. Patel develop a balanced portfolio of interventions to improve client outcomes and operational efficiency? What factors should she consider to ensure the interventions are sustainable and effective?
